Welcome to Arland House Bed & Breakfast

Arland House B&B is situated in the South Costwold Conservation village of Alderton, Wiltshire, in an area of outstanding natural beauty. Alderton is surrounded by some of the finest countryside in England.

We have an excellent reputation for good service, very good cooked farmhouse breakfasts and a comfortable and friendly atmosphere. There are many excellent restaurants and pubs nearby.

Located in an enviable position overlooking the well stocked village duckpond, Arland House is an excellent base to explore the Wiltshire countryside. It's also within reach of many local attractions including Westonbirt Arboretum, Castle Combe, Malmesbury and also within 30 minutes of the Roman City of Bath, Cirencester, Cheltenham and the cities of Bristol and Swindon.

We have two attractive ensuite double bedrooms, a cosy guest lounge with open fireplace, oak beams and a delightful airy breakfast room.

There is ample offroad parking and facilities for both cyclists and walkers and motor racing vehicles.

Alderton itself is a medieval village with a manor house and fish pond. It has many pretty cottages all with unusual porches. For this reason, it was in days gone by referred to as 'the village of many porches'.
